NETHERLAND COMPANY REGISTRATION

The Netherlands continues to be a strategic destination for global entrepreneurs and foreign entities seeking to establish a presence in one of Europe’s most open and innovation-driven economies. A foreign national or overseas company can register and fully own a Dutch-based entity—typically a Besloten Vennootschap (B.V.), the Dutch equivalent of a private limited company—subject to compliance with the Dutch Civil Code and registration with the Netherlands Chamber of Commerce (KVK). The Netherlands offers a transparent and efficient incorporation process, a competitive tax regime, and access to the European single market. With its strong legal infrastructure, minimal bureaucracy, and global connectivity, the Netherlands serves as an ideal launchpad for international expansion and cross-border operations throughout Europe and beyond.

Register with the Chamber of Commerce (KVK)

Most foreign entrepreneurs opt for a Besloten Vennootschap (B.V.), a Dutch private limited company offering limited liability and flexible ownership.

Prepare the Deed of Incorporation and Articles of Association, typically notarized by a Dutch civil law notary.

Submit incorporation documents to the Netherlands Chamber of Commerce (KVK) to obtain your KVK number and enter the Business Register.

Registration with KVK automatically notifies the Dutch Tax Administration. You’ll receive a RSIN and can apply for a VAT number if needed.
